Public tenders for Pokolpje region

The objective of the public tender is to reduce initial costs for investors whose investment will have favourable effects on employment, technological development programmes or on promoting development of entrepreneurship or tourism.

The public tender is also open to foreign companies, however, the recipient of funds can only be a company registered in the Republic of Slovenia.

The amount of co-financing cannot exceed:

• 45 per cent of the value of eligible costs for small enterprises,
• 35 per cent of the value of eligible costs for medium-sized enterprises and
• 25 per cent of the value of eligible costs for big enterprises.

Next public tender will be published in spring 2020.

Subsides for star-up companies

The purpose of P2R public tenders is to promote start-up companies and the successful transfer of the ideas of entrepreneurial individuals and groups to successful market undertakings, and for stimulating the creation of jobs. To that end, support is provided to a target group of companies in the most vulnerable phase of development. In particular, they are encouraged to develop their entrepreneurial competences through inclusion in entrepreneurial support programmes. Subsidies allow companies without sufficient financial resources to develop faster and more intensively, and thus improve their financial position. Support is provided to improve operations and achieve development potential with the aim of lowering the failure rate during the initial phase of operations and improve competitiveness on the domestic and foreign markets. The development of supported companies and the successful transfer of the ideas of entrepreneurial individuals and groups to successful market undertakings and the establishment of new companies with growth potential are monitored, with an emphasis on the commercialisation of products, processes and services.
